Krampbell Discovery Kit
Litigation production loadfiles, handled entirely on your machine.
Open, inspect, and convert the loadfiles that come with an e-discovery production — Concordance-style DAT and CSV, Opticon OPT image lists, and zipped volumes — without uploading anything, anywhere.
What it does
Load and view
Read a production set, page through rows with Bates numbering, search by Bates number, and open the document image for a row. Quote-aware parsing keeps commas and embedded newlines inside fields intact.
Convert and edit
Export rows to CSV, remove or rename columns, and save a copy without touching the delimiter, qualifier, or encoding the receiving system expects.
Stack and crosswalk Pro
Combine volumes of one production into a single master loadfile, de-duplicate rolling productions on a key, or put two exports of the same documents side by side.
Stream large files Pro
Convert a very large DAT or CSV without holding it all in memory.
Schema drift QC Free
Compare the schemas of two or more loadfiles and get a report of where they disagree, with a SHA-256 manifest of every input.
Private by construction
Everything is processed in the application itself. There is no server to send anything to, no account to sign into, and no analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting. On macOS the app runs in the App Sandbox with no network entitlement — the operating system enforces the guarantee, it is not merely a promise.
Availability
Krampbell Discovery Kit is in preparation for the Mac App Store and the Microsoft Store, with a signed direct-download build for firms that do not use app stores. The free tier covers loading, viewing, converting, and the schema-drift QC report; the Pro tools — Stack, Crosswalk, and Stream — are unlocked with a one-time purchase in the app.
